Walter Holt

Walter Holt, born on December 27, 1955, in Würzburg, Germany, peacefully passed away on December 19, 2025, in Decatur, Georgia. He lived a life marked by kindness, integrity, and a deep commitment to his family and community.

Walter's journey through life began in Germany, where he was nurtured by the rich culture and traditions of his homeland. His early years shaped his character, instilling in him values that would guide him throughout his life. In pursuit of new opportunities, Walter moved to the United States, where he established himself and became a beloved member of his community.

With a spirit that endeared him to those around him, Walter was known for his warmth and generosity. He had an innate ability to connect with people from all walks of life, making friends wherever he went. His laughter was infectious, and his genuine interest in others inspired those fortunate enough to know him.

He devoted much of his life to serving others, whether through volunteer work or simply being a reliable friend. His contributions to the community reflected his belief in the importance of supporting and uplifting one another. Walter was a beacon of positivity, always ready with a listening ear or a helping hand.

Walter is survived by his friends, who will forever cherish the memories they created together. Although he is no longer with us, the impact he made will always remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege to call him a friend.

A visitation in honor of Walter will be held on December 29, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at H. Griner Funeral Home, located at 186 Highway 279, Fayetteville, GA 30214. This will be followed by a funeral service starting at 1:00 PM, also at the same location.
