With deep sorrow and fond remembrance, we announce the passing of Demetris Pyles-Wilson, who departed this life on July 20, 2026, at the age of 35. Born on May 17, 1991, Demetris’s journey touched the hearts of those who knew him, leaving a legacy that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of sharing in his life. 

While words can only begin to express the loss felt by his family, friends, and community, they also speak to the depth of love and admiration he inspired every day. His warmth, kindness, and unwavering presence enriched the lives around him and created bonds that will endure beyond his years.

Those wishing to pay their respects are invited to attend the public visitation for Demetris Pyles-Wilson, which will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Renaissance Church of Christ, 3675 Butner Rd, Atlanta, GA 30349. A memorial service will follow immediately at 10:00 AM where memories will be shared and Demetris’s life will be honored and celebrated.

Demetris’s legacy is imprinted on every person fortunate enough to know him. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the fullness of his life and the impact he made. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
